Pomegranate Medium, upright often spiny shrub or small tree. Narrow, glossy, bright green leaves are coppery when young. Produces funnel shaped bright orange red flowers with crumpled petals in summer. Prefers a hot sunny sheltered area in full sun. Half hardy and needs a well drained light soil. Fruit will only ripen in a scorching hot summer. |
