Height/Spread: Grows to 20 - 25ft tall by 19 - 22ft wide. Flower: The first and only red bloomer with brilliant fuchsia red flowers in spring. A much brighter shade than the typical redbud. A little later blooming. Foliage: Lustrous green. Shape: Broad, round shape. Shade: Prefers full sun to partial shade. Soils: Likes moist/well drained soils.

Height/Spread: Grows to 21 - 30ft tall by 20 25ft wide. Flower: Blooms on naked braches in April/May and are rosy-pink. Foliage: Very striking purple foliage, which fades somewhat to a purple/green through the summer. Shape: Naturally the plant wants to grow as a multi-trunk form (which makes a nicer tree). It has an irregular growth habit when young, but forms a graceful, flat-topped, vase shape as it ages. Soils: Medium, well-drained soils.
